Myrrh is the resin of a rather prickly tree that loves the open scrubland of East Africa, but also Oman. The flowers are small and slightly yellowish, rather greenish. Myrrh was already used in ancient Egypt. The resin was used for embalming. But myrrh is also mentioned in the Bible.
